The TDI CCR Mixed Gas Diver (MOD2) course represents the next major step in advanced closed circuit rebreather training. This program expands your CCR capabilities beyond Helitrox into full mixed gas diving, allowing you to safely conduct deeper dives while managing narcosis, gas density and decompression obligations.
Building on your previous CCR training, this course focuses on advanced decompression diving using helium-based diluents and multiple bailout gases. You will refine your procedural discipline, improve team awareness and develop robust problem-solving skills for deeper technical CCR environments.
During the course, you will learn advanced gas planning, complex bailout strategies, setpoint management at depth and decompression optimization. Training dives are conducted progressively, allowing you to build confidence while maintaining strict technical diving protocols.
Upon successful completion, you will be certified to conduct mixed gas CCR decompression dives to extended depths, opening the door to expedition-level technical diving and advanced trimix CCR training.
