Rebreather Dive Training - ANDI Rebreather Training Packages
Rubicon Diving offers a range of rebreather training packages ranging from a rebreather try dive right through to the level 5 explorer course that takes you to 100 metres plus.
Our training courses are administered by American Nitrox Divers Incorporated (ANDI) and by the International Association of Rebreather Trainers (IART). These organisations have some of the highest training standards in the world and Rubicon Diving has its own in house ANDI and IART Instructors and Instructor Trainer.
Our rebreather courses are taught on a range of different rebreather systems and we have one of the largest selections of CCR rebreathers in Europe. So whatever type of diving you wish to specialise in, whatever system of rebreather configuration you prefer we can meet your needs.
Rebreather Try Dives
For those divers that are simply interested in trying a rebreather dive, or want to find out if rebreather diving is for them before booking a training course, we offer a rebreather try dive which is spread over two days. On your first afternoon you will cover basic rebreather theory, equipment set up and familiarisation. On your second day you will have two open water dives on your chosen rebreather system.
The Rebreather try dive costs €250 and includes ALL costs including equipment hire, Sofnalime and gases.
ANDI Rebreather Training Courses
Rubicon Diving offers a complete range of rebreather ANDI training packages ranging from introductory level 2 (30 metres) to extended range level 5 (100 metres). CCR Level 2
The Level 2 CCR course is an introductory course which is designed to provide you with an understanding of how CCR systems work and take you to a maximum depth of 30 metres. The course covers both general rebreather theory and specific theory as related to the CCR system you will be training on. As part of the course you will have two confined water dives and between 6 and 8 open water dives.The course costs €1250* and lasts one week.

TRD Level 3
The Level 3 Technical Rebreather Diver course is an intermediate course which is designed to provide you with an introduction to the use of Tri-Mix gases and decompression diving. As part of the course you will dive to a maximum depth of 50 metres with a decompression ceiling of 30 minutes. The course covers both general and specific rebreather theory as related to the CCR system you will be training on. The course will also introduce you to mission orientated dive planning. As part of the course you will make 4 open water dives.The course costs €1500* and lasts one week

CCE/ERE Level 5
The Level 5 rebreather courses are advanced or explorer courses. These courses are designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to be able to dive to 100 metres and beyond on a rebreather. As part of the course you will study the use of Tri-Mix gases and extended decompression. Within the course you will dive to a maximum depth of 100 metres with unlimited decompression. The course covers advanced rebreather, decompression and tri-mix theory. The course will also focus more on mission orientated dive planning. As part of the course you will have make between 6 and 10 open water dives.The course costs €2500* and lasts one week
