Recreational and Fun Diving for Qualified Divers
Rubicon Diving has developed an international reputation as the premier dive company in Lanzarote. We offer the highest quality and best value boat trips on the island reaching many dive sites where no other dive centres go. Our boats go out twice a day in the morning, with the first trip commencing at 9am and the second between 11 and 11.30 am. Between the two dives we return to the dive centre for a surface interval with coffee and cakes provided! Our recreational dive prices cater both for divers who have their own equipment and those who wish to hire our equipment. As an Aqualung Partner Centre we can guarantee that you have the most up to date and high quality hire equipment on the Island.
Want to Try Diving for the First Time?
In addition to offering dive trips for recreational diving each morning, in the afternoons we offer Discover Scuba Diving (€65) for those people who want to try scuba diving for the first time. These 'experience dives' take place at 3pm each afternoon and last between one and half to two hours and include a full explanation of how the scuba equipment works and its assembly and disassembly. At the end of your dive you will receive a DSD registration that is valid for 12 months and is proof that you have completed the Confined and Open Water parts of the PADI Open Water Diver course should you decide to continue and become a qualified diver. Once you have completed the Discover Scuba Diving programme you can make subsequent try dives in safe Open Water sites accompanied by an instructor. These dives also take place in the afternoons at 3pm on designated days, each subsequent dive costs €65.
In the afternoons we also provide Scuba Review programmes (€75) for those divers who qualified some time ago and have not dived for a while and want to brush up on their skills. Our experience dives either take place in the Marina Rubicon Bay or at one of the several shallow dive sites reachable only a few minutes boat ride from the Marina. All of these sites provide calm conditions, easy entry and shallow water to suit the needs of novice divers.
