3. PADI-DSAT Tec Trimix Diver

During this course you will learn how to dive safely beyond the depth limits of air, enriched air and oxygen, deeper than 50m/165ft. This course is for experienced technical divers who wish to extend their depth using different gas mixes, including Trimix, Heliox, Heliair, enriched air and 100% oxygen. Within the DSAT Tec Trimix course you will plan and execute training dives to a maximum of 75m/245ft using decompression software and the already learned skills and procedures from the DSAT Tec Deep course. The course will take 5 to 8 days depending on your prerequisites.

Prerequisites:

  • PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent
  • PADI DSAT TEC Deep Diver or equivalent. If not DSAT certified, then the entire DSAT manual must be read and knowledge reviews completed prior to the course
  • Minimum 18 years old
 Equipment:
  • 2 Back-Gas Regulators
  • 2 Stage Regulators (1 O2 clean)
  • 2 Depth Gauges / Timer / Computer
  • 3 SPG´s (1 O2 clean)
  • Back Plate/Harness
  • Wings (redundant), min 20kg lift
  • Exposure Suit (full 7mm or dry suit)
  • Slates & Clips
  • Surgical tubing (2m/7ft.)
  • 2 Cutting Devices
  • Reel with Lift bag/SMB
