Once you have taken the first step on the PADI professional ladder as a Divemaster you can now consider the Assistant Instructors Course.

• At least 18 years old
• PADI Rescue Diver certification or qualifying certification from another training organization
• Have 60 logged dives, including night, deep, and navigation dives
• Have been a certified diver for at least 6 months

• Knowledge development through self-study, quizzes, lectures & presentations
• Confined water skill review and assessment, workshops & presentations
• Open water workshops, rescue assessment & candidate presentations

The course can vary from as little as three days to more than two weeks
