Introduction
Maybe you don’t really remember when you first began to get interested in the depth below recreational limits. You may have got inspired by swimming over a deep drop off or you saw a movie about deep diving.
What ever your motivation is to invest your time and your money into our Technical diver training, you will see that we at Rubicon Diving, Lanzarote offer a complete range of technical diver programs that train you to dive safely beyond the recreational scuba diving limits.
What is technical diving?
Technical diving is diving deeper than 40mtr. /130ft. with staged decompression, diving in overhead environment beyond 40mtr. /130ft. linear distance from the surface or accelerated decompression using different gas mixes like trimix, enriched air or oxygen.
Technical diving is not for everyone as it has high physical demands and requires complex and extensive training but if you are ready for new challenge, we here at Rubicon Diving, Lanzarote, have the staff, the facilities and the experience to train you as a safe, confident and disciplined technical diver.
Already Qualified?
If you are already qualified as a technical diver then Rubicon Diving can tailor diving packages to suit your needs, with your own boat, guides and logistical support. We blend our own Trimix and Nitrox with our on-site membrane gas blending station and compressors. Our dive boats are modern and stocked with all necessary safety equipment.

Why Rubicon Diving?
Rubicon Diving is a PADI 5 Star IDC and DSAT Technical Training facility offering technical training up to the DSAT Trimix Instructor level.
The technical training that you will receive is supported by the latest material and conducted by our experienced instructors; we can also offer you training in different languages.
During you training the group size no more than 3 divers to 1 Instructor and if necessary we will bring in additional staff. At Rubicon Diving, Lanzarote, we set our standards very high and you training with us is exactly this- Training.
Our technical diving courses are scheduled over 8 to 10 days, giving a time frame to provide you with quality and in depth training. When you complete our technical training then you can be assured that you have the knowledge and skills to be a self-sufficient technical diver.
Why Canaries?
Lanzarote, the third largest of the Canary Islands, offers excellent topography for deeper diving with the opportunity to explore vast canyons formed by the volcanic lava runoffs. There are also a number of wrecks situated around the Canary Islands. Our custom built boats allows our divers access to dive sites that otherwise may not be accessible from shore.
