What is the Diving Like in Lanzarote?
Lanzarote is a spectacular place to dive, the volcanic reefs are a natural wonder and the island's ecosystem supports a great concentration of life with almost daily encounters with rays, groupers, barracuda and angel sharks. The water temperature ranges from 18° to 25° Celsius allowing for comfortable diving all year round. The visibility is usually between 20 to 30 metres so that you can be sure to see the fantastic sights the island has to offer.

Rubicon Diving is recognised as a world leader in all aspects of scuba dive training and provides a wide range of training courses certified by PADI, ANDI, IART and CEMAS. Our beginner dive training programmes usually last for 3 to 5 Days and commence almost daily all year round. Courses can be provided in a range of languages including English, Spanish, German, Italian or French; course manuals are also available in a wide range of other European languages. Training courses are conducted at our purpose built training facility in the Marina Rubicon, which features multimedia classrooms and a training pool for confined water sessions.
Advanced and Professional Training
As well as providing training for novice divers, Rubicon Diving can take you even further into the world of scuba diving offering certified divers the chance to continue their dive education and become an Advanced Open Water diver, Rescue Diver, Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Open Water Instructor. We also provide a full range of courses in technical and rebreather diving up to instructor level.
